Additional Details

The Battle of the Thames was an American victory over the British and their Indian allies near what is now Chatham, Ontario. Andrew Jackson was not in this battle; the central figures here are Colonel Richard Mentor Johnson shooting Tecumseh. American Battle Art, plate 40 and pages 89-90.
